The Canada Career Week Fair is fast approaching!

Edmonton’s Canada Career Week Fair takes place on November 20th and 21th, and provides an opportunity for those making career choices to make connections with a variety of education, trade and industry organizations and individuals. As well, it offers an opportunity for employers and prospective employees to connect.

The Canada Career Week Fair encourages career awareness and exploration. It is an opportunity for all Albertans, your grade 9 to 12 students in particular, to discover, understand and explore the steps involved in choosing a career path that is best suited for them.

In the Edmonton Region, the 13th Annual Canada Career Week Fair is being held Friday, November 20th, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 21th, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Northlands Agricom. The Fair is free of charge to the public and is hosted by Alberta Employment and Immigration, Government of Canada, Oteenow Employment & Training Society and The Métis Nation of Alberta.

To give employers and employees an opportunity to come together, and to encourage career discussions between employers, educators, students and parents, you are invited to attend the Canada Career Week Fair. As part of your school’s commitment to career development and initiatives we would ask you to please promote this fair in your newsletter.

To encourage Fair attendance by teachers and students in your career programs, we are pleased to offer information sessions designed to help people get the most out of their experience at the fair. To arrange for and book an information session time, please contact the show producer, Currie Communications Ltd., at (780) 413-9570.
